Known issues with Live@edu - archived information
In early 2012 all WBS staff migrated to the Microsoft Live@edu email system. The following were issues encountered. It is archived here in case any of the information remains relevant although some of the issues may have been resolved by the upgrade to the Office 365 system in 2013.
- Changing the default Address Book in Outlook to make addressing new messages easier
- Making imported email address books visible to Outlook
- What are all these address books? / Where are my imported contacts?
- Email addresses do not auto-complete (workaround)
- How to drag attachments onto messages
- Turning off Outlook's Reading Pane for (nearly) all folders
- Changing the ordering of Folders in Outlook
- Some of my messages are duplicated
- I can't preview or open attachments without downloading them to my computer first (Resolved)
- Turning on the bcc field by default when composing messages.
- Composing messages as plain text by default
- Make the reading pane behave more like the Groupwise quickviewer
- Legitimate messages are ending up my Junk e-mail folder
