There will be a power cut next Wednesday morning (Oct 27th) between 06.30 and 08.00. The actual outage will be approximately 20 minutes.

Who will this affect?
Users of the ground floor of the Scarman Road building as well as the first floor of Phase 1 (A Block). This includes the PG IT Suite.

All key central systems (door access, servers, network etc) will be powered by UPSs (think big batteries) and should continue to work without disruption. All IT systems however should be considered 'at risk' for this period. Systems staff will be on site to minimise any disruption.

What do I need to do?
If you have an office in one of the affected areas please ensure you save all your work and power off your computer on Tuesday evening.

Avoid using the PG IT suite during this time.

Why is this necessary?
For connection of the new powered doors.
