IT Services are reporting problems with some @warwick.ac.uk email addresses. The issue began on September 17th and ITS believe they have fixed the issue for the majority of users. Any remaining problems are being fixed on an individual basis. If you have any problems sending emails to an @warwick.ac.uk or hear that others are having problems emailing you please contact the IT Services helpdesk on 73737 or helpdesk@warwick.ac.uk. Over the next few days changes will be automatically applied to your computer to replace the WBS logo you see when your computer is started up. These changes have already been made to student computers but will be introduced for staff in a managed way in case they cause problems. You will not need to do anything to enable these changes but may see some brief activity (e.g. screen flashing) when logging into your computer.

Criminals are clearly targeting the university with fake emails trying to steal usernames and passwords. In particular criminals appear to be taking advantage of confusion around this summers outsourcing of Warwick student email to try to catch people out.
