The majority of student open access computers are now running Windows 7. Signs have been placed in the rooms advising users of the key changes such as the replacement of 'WBS-Applications' by the desktop link 'Run Advertised Programs'. By the start of term we intend to have all student and teaching room machines running Windows 7.

When sending emails to system distribution lists such as 'All WBS Staff' it is important to select the list from the system Address Book. This ensures you have an up-to-date copy of the list. For details see  http://help.wbs.ac.uk/kb/email/staff/address-book/emailing-distribution-list

On Wednesday July 28th there will be some disruption to WBS network services as part of the IT Services Network Replacement Project.

Google has informed us of their plans to perform maintenance on Google Sync for approximately 4 hours, starting on July 23rd from 05.00 - 09.00.
