EUTOPIA Research Days

Thematic Focus: This edition was focus on the theme of Water, with discussions structured around four panels:

  • Water Heritage and Sustainability
  • Water and Climate Change
  • Blue Economy
  • Water Communities

Programme & Activities:
Short presentations: Researchers presented their work and short pitches outlining project ideas and research challenges relevant to the selected calls

Networking sessions: working tables to explore potential collaborations around 3 thematic areas - Blue Economy, Climate Change, and Heritage, Sustainability & Communities

Thematic Focus: Regulatable AI

Led by Professor Long Tran-Thanh, Chair of Digital, Data Science & AI Research Spotlight, this edition of EUTOPIA Research Days brought together 26 researchers and 13 research officers from 10 European and 2 global EUTOPIA partner universities, to foster collaboration, exchange innovative ideas, and explore new research frontiers in the area of Regulatable AI.

Programme & Activities:
Engaging Discussions: Participants presented the status of Artificial Intelligence research at their university, sparking new ideas and perspectives.

Collaborative Workshops: Interactive sessions allowed for close collaboration and development of future research plans.

Networking Opportunities: The event facilitated meaningful connections and potential collaborations among a diverse group of experts.

The Warwick team included Prof. Long Tran-Thanh (Computer Science), Dr. Cecilia Piantanida (SMLC), Prof. Adam Sanborn (Psychology), and Associate Prof. Arnab Bhattacharyya (Computer Science)
