The Guild welcomesLink opens in a new window the objectives of the Union of Skills strategy to boost high quality education and skills development, and to foster shared EU values. We particularly welcome the broad definition of skills which goes beyond the immediate needs of the labor market and the recognition of the strategic importance of investing in people’s competences.

Following the editions in Paris (February 2022), Ljubljana (March 2023), and Brussels (March 2024), the University of Warwick (Dr. Rosie Doyle) will host the 2025 flagship event of the Connected Learning Community in Legal History, with the support of the participating institutions (University of Warwick, CY Cergy Université, University of Ljubljana, Vrije Universiteit Brussel).

The +RAIN Film Festival, Europe’s first dedicated to AI-generated films, opens its third call for films. Organised by Pompeu Fabra University and Sónar, it explores the aesthetic, narrative, ethical, and political implications of AI in cinema and the arts. Creators are encouraged to submit their films for the 2025 edition of the festival by 9 March 2025. Two prizes will be awarded among the selected works

Maximising the impact of research and effectively communicating scientific discoveries are significant challenges faced by researchers worldwide today. EUTOPIA_HEALTH organised a series of two-day interactive training sessions in 2024 (Ljubljana, December 9-10 and Cluj-Napoca, December 12-13). In early 2025 the workshops were held in Lisbon (January 16-17, 2025). Designed for researchers and professionals in science management, these sessions focused on enhancing impact and improving science communication. Over the two days, participants explored various tools and strategies to increase the relevance of their work and make it more accessible to diverse audiences.
