European universities reimagine education in the digital, post-pandemic age
Higher education across Europe needs to cut red tape, revolutionise lifelong learning, standardise digital platforms, and immerse students in research as well as employability skills from day one, according to new recommendations proposed by Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities.
President of Malta addresses students at The Shard
On 23 November Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, The President of Malta and Honorary Professor in PAIS, gave a lecture entitled ‘Ensuring Equity: The Importance of Wealth Distribution in a Globalised World’.
She called for students to be activists in support of the transformations required for more equitable patterns of wealth distribution.

Warwick welcomes the University of Malta
Warwick welcomed a delegation of 8 academics from the University of Malta on 22 and 23 May 2017. This visit was underpinned by a Memorandum of Understanding between Warwick and Malta, which was recently signed by our Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Stuart Croft, and the Rector of the University of Malta, Prof Alfred J. Vella (who is also a Visiting Professor in Warwick’s Department of Chemistry).
