How recruiters can support neurodiverse candidatesTeamsIt is estimated that 15% of the population are neurodiverse, yet only a small portion of them are in full-time employment[1]. Neurodiverse individuals can face barriers not experienced by their neurotypical counterparts, meaning it can be difficult to secure or maintain a job. There is an untapped market of neurodiverse people who want to work and with accommodations can be welcomed into the workforce in a meaningful and sustainable way. Creating an inclusive, diverse and supportive workplace is a goal for every organisation. Diversity leads to innovation and neurodiverse individuals bring their own unique strengths to the workplace.
