It’s a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a strategically important university-wide project that will shape our next Education Strategy, and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the University. Join a one-day live event focusing on the learning outcomes from the Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 intensive independent research programme, led by the University of Warwick and Coventry University with local artists, communities and citizens. The day, on 25 November, will look ahead to researching Coventry’s legacy programme and the opportunities for Bradford UK City of Culture 2025.
Would you like to host a student?
Share your experiences of life in the UK with a visiting student from the Department of Applied Linguistics. If you live near to the University, in the south of Coventry or Kenilworth, you could be eligible to host a student for a short period of time, from 2 weeks to 3 months, and receive payment for this. UK Research and Innovation has just published its new Knowledge Exchange Framework data. It rates the impact UK universities have on their communities, regional and local businesses, and broader society. Warwick ranked in the top 20% of universities for public and community engagement; working with the public and third sector on contract research; and for working with businesses.
