It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael McLeod on 2 September 2008. Michael was a Fellow at the Centre for Caribbean Studies
and the Centre for Research in Ethnic Relations from the 1980s until 2004.
Paralympic success for Warwick graduate
Former Warwick student Tom Aggar rowed to Paralympic Gold last week in Beijing, beating his nearest competitor by four seconds. This is a fantastic success for Tom, a Biological Sciences graduate
originally from London, who started training as a rower less than two
years ago just after leaving Warwick with a First class degree.

Book in honour of former Warwick Chancellor
Sir Shridath Ramphal, Warwick's Chancellor from 1989-2002, has been honoured with a book produced detailing many of his accomplishments in international and Caribbean life. The book is to honour his 80th birthday on October 3 and will have its European launch in London on this date.
