Cup Final - Result
Hi Guys
Well the season is now officially over and wanted to congratulate WMG (photo attached) on beating ITSLIB last night in the cup final. ITSLIB won the toss and batted first but after a slow start recorded 116 off their 20 overs. WMG got there with 3 overs to spare despite a spirited bowling display by ITSLIB. Notably 25s from Sam and Chris wood but some fine power hitting from Ram and Sri. Alex Gasper was pretty unplayable in his 3 over spell. WMG’s openers Wadg 25*and Paddy Vanderpant made a steady against Scotty and Ram (who were very unlucky not to take a wicket)Taz would eventually make the breakthrough bowling Vanderpant. In came gasper who played some aggressive strokes but was out after a brilliant catch from Dean on the boundary. Despite a few nerves 116 was never good enough a score and WMG made the total in the fading light with a couple to spare.
IMPORTANT – END OF SEASON AWARDS! PLEASE CAN YOU SEND THIS TO ALL YOUR PLAYERS???!!!! Thanks to the nominations so far.

Great win last night guys, an awesomely professional despatch of WBS. (86 all out – 87 for 2)
Next game I have a place available if anyone wants to play as Saoud isn’t available, this is a friendly.
Following that two biggies, back to back games with Chemistry on 25th and 27th June. Then the Medics 11th July

6th June v WMG- Match report
ITSLiB XI won the toss and batted first totalling 119 for 4 from 20: Joe 25, Yann 19, Dean 17, Taz 14.
WMG scored 89 all out from 16.
Outstanding work in the field helped us to keep their score low and taking some great catches helped us defend a par total. Great bowling all round and again excellent fielding. Great debuts’ for Sameer, Rikhi and Lachlan, welcome aboard!
