International Programme in the Leadership and Management of Higher Education

The University welcomes delegates from 9 countries to our first International Programme in the Leadership and Management of Higher Education (WIPLM) from 7-18 September 2009.

The delegates are university leaders and senior managers from countries such as South Africa, Australia, Barbados, Ireland, Nigeria, Russia, Poland, Japan and Ghana.

The Warwick International Programme in the Leadership and Management of Higher Education (Warwick IPLM) is a two week intensive programme that provides a new approach to the way in which we develop, support and equip those leaders and managers to fulfil their roles, now and in the future.

The WIPLM will address key themes in 21st century international higher education such as Strategy, Governance, Leadership and Management, Financial Management, Entrepreneurialism, Marketing, Institutional Brand and Reputation Management and Operations.

It builds upon the highly successful Higher Education Management Programme offered by the Universities of Warwick and Oxford for over 20 years and attended by over 300 delegates from 60 countries.
