A new report from The University of Warwick's Business School finds a substantial rise in the proportion of businesses in the Midlands with staff off work due to long-term mental health issues.
The annual survey of 1,900 Midlands-based firms by the Enterprise Research Centre (ERC), which is now in its fifth year, found that while mental health absence continues to be an issue for a large number of firms, there has been a particularly striking increase in long-term absences.
