Connecting Cultures GRP Annual Keynote Lecture by Prof Michael Puett, 'What’s the point of cultural comparison?'

- Export as iCalendar
Location: Room M1, WBS Teaching Centre, University of Warwick

In a time when many feel cultural connections both nationally and internationally are at breaking point, Prof Puett in this talk will challenge how and why we can and should connect and compare cultures. Prof Puett’s interests are focused on the inter-relations between philosophy, anthropology, history, and religion, with the hope of bringing the study of China into larger historical and comparative frameworks. He is also Chair of Committee for the Study of Religions at Harvard.
