Who gets admitted to intensive care? Using qualitative data to create a meaningful choice experiment

- Export as iCalendar
Location: Via Teams

The QMIG group is delighted to have rescheduled this event, originally planned for July 2020. Choice experiment is a health economics research method widely used to understand preferences in decision making. Professor Mandy Ryan and Professor Anne-Marie Slowther will describe how data from an ethnographic study of decision making around admission to intensive care was used to develop a choice experiment designed to identify what factors influence ICU clinicians’ preferences for admitting patients to intensive care.
