Dr Sherie Wright from the MRC Capacity, Skills and Infrastructure team will be leading a session on funding opportunities for Early Career Researchers (ECRs). Topics covered include an overview of MRC and UKRI and their strategic priorities, an overview of funding opportunities for ECRs including UKRI FLF and clinical careers, perspective from a panel member and hints and tips for applications. There will also be a limited number of time slots available for discussions of individual planned proposals.

In the afternoon, Dr Agnes Leong from the MRC Translation team will be leading a session on Translation schemes by the MRC, including the Confidence in Concept (CiC) and Proximity 2 Discovery (P2D) schemes as well as schemes linking in with industry.
