Transforming the Plate: A Series of Food GRP Events Celebrating Research, Collaboration and Community.

Welcome to the end of academic year celebrations of the Food GRP!

We are thrilled to present our showcase event series, "Transforming the Plate". This series takes a transdisciplinary approach to food research, focusing on the transformation of food issues, systems and communities.

Our first event, under the theme 'My Food & Drink', focused on fostering existing networks and building new collaborations to support and resource the work we do. We brought together Warwick-based researchers from numerous departments to explore possibilities and opportunities for further transdisciplinary exchange.

The second event in the series, under the theme of Systems Transformation, aims to explore innovative practices and solutions for a more sustainable and resilient food system. In keeping with our commitment to relational and transdisciplinary thinking, we will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders from across the food landscape to take part in 'The GAME'. This innovative tool is designed to ensure that multiple voices are considered when we think about the system change required to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 2 of No Hunger in a meaningful way. Through this event, we hope to demonstrate how a transdisciplinary approach to food research can contribute to building more just and sustainable food systems.

Finally, we will be celebrating the end of the academic year with an event focused on Strengthening Research Networks across the West Midlands.
