The webinar addressed the increasing homelessness crisis in the UK and its impact on the diet and health of women and their children, as well as provided a solution-focused approach. It drew upon Anne's research with homeless and low-income households over the past 20 years and addressed implications for policy and practice.

Dr Anne Coufopoulos is currently Executive Dean of the School of Health Sport and Food at University College Birmingham where she leads a large School of further and higher education provision in the Centre of Birmingham. Anne has over 20 years experience in Higher Education and is also a registered dietitian. Anne’s research over the years has focused upon the diet and health of low income households, notably homeless women and children and she is committed to ensuring that research is translated into practice on the ground, ultimately to improve the lives of those she works with.
