Gendering the Cost of Living Crisis: Toward equitable and sustainable cities
The Sustainable Cities GRP will be hosting a panel discussion on the gendered impact of the UK cost of living crisis. Mary Ann Stephenson, Director of the Women's Budget group, and colleagues will be talking about the cost of living crisis, its gendered dimensions, and its implications for the achievement of equitable and sustainable cities.

Mary-Ann Stephenson (tbc)
Mary-Ann is the director of the Women's Budget Group and has worked for women's equality and human rights for over twenty years as a campaigner, researcher and trainer. She was previously Director of the Fawcett Society and a Commissioner on the Women's National Commission.

Nickie Charles is Professor and Co-Director of the Centre for the Study of Women and Gender in the Sociology Department at the University of Warwick. She has published on many aspects of gender including feminist social movements, the gendered division of paid and unpaid work and the refuge movement.
