Building Wellbeing Literacy for IAS Accolade

Building Wellbeing Literacy

Co-Creating Opportunities for Doctoral and Post-doctoral Researchers

Project Overview
Promoting wellbeing literacy is crucial given the increasing mental health challenges faced by PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.

This Enhancing Research CultureLink opens in a new window at Warwick project, funded by Research England, aims to develop targeted online resources for wellbeing literacy specifically designed for PhD students and postdoctoral staff. Incorporating their perspectives from the outset, we use participatory methodologies to ensure these resources align with the needs and lifestyles of early-career researchers.

Invitation to take part in the Listening Workshop for IAS accolade program

As part of this initiative, we are hosting a series of Listening Workshops to gather insights on preferred resources and tools for delivering effective and flexible online wellbeing literacy resources. These workshops will guide the development of learning objectives, format, and content, ensuring the resources are tailored to the learning preferences of Warwick early-career researchers.

For the IAS Accolade Program fellows, the Listening Workshop will take place on Wednesday 15th January at 1 PM, integrated into their program activities. Participation in this workshop is embedded within the IAS Accolade Program but remains entirely voluntary. Following the listening workshop, Professor Elena Riva will deliver a session on Wellbeing in Research.
