Women's Health at Warwick

About the event

This event brings together the interdisciplinary women’s health community at Warwick. It aims to facilitate new connections, strengthen existing networks, and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration in women's health research across the University of Warwick.

The morning session will feature a series of short presentations from Warwick researchers from a range of disciplines whose work contributes to advancing understanding and improving outcomes in women's health. These presentations will be followed by networking, opportunities to share ideas, identify common research interests and explore potential collaborations.

The afternoon will focus on public and patient involvement (PPI) in women's health research. Participants will engage in discussions on the value of involving patients and the public throughout the research process, hear examples of effective engagement practices, and consider how meaningful involvement can enhance the relevance, quality, and impact of women’s health research across disciplines.

As part of the programme, all attendees are invited to prepare one slide for a five-eight-minute introduction to themselves and their area of expertise. This is an opportunity to highlight your research interests, relevant experience, current projects and highlight any collaborators you would like to make new connections with. Please include your name and organisation on the slide.

Please send this to r.philippou@warwick.ac.uk no later than 1st December.
