Papin Prizes 2019- Shortlist success

A big congratulations and a huge well done to the following three Warwick Technicians who have been shortlisted for Papin Prizes this year:

Steven Huband-shortlisted for core facility.

Steven Hindmarsh-shortlisted for core facility.

Ian Hands-Portman-shortlisted for core facility and outreach.

The shortlisting is well deserved and we wish them all the best of luck at HETS 2019 where the winners will be announced. University Awards- Nominations now open

Dear all,

The University Awards are now open for nominations until Sunday 17 March. The Awards are designed to recognise staff at all grades and from all departments across the University – staff and students are invited to nominate colleagues/teams they believe have made a real difference to Warwick.

The 2019 categories are listed below – please note the new ‘Supporting Student Employability’ category:

  • Team nominations only: Outstanding Team
  • Individual nominations only: Inspirational Leader, Outstanding Contribution, Unsung Hero, Brilliant Newcomer
  • Categories open to both individual and team nominations: Community Contribution, Supporting Student Employability, Public Engagement Contribution, Student Experience, Research Contribution, Service Excellence

Technician's Commitment: Focus Groups

Following on from the Window on Warwick event and the feedback received, we are pleased to announce that a set of focus groups have been organised for technicians to engage in and provide feedback on the commitment. The focus groups have been arranged under the four headings of Recognition, Sustainability, Visability and Career Development. In order to attend any of the groups, you will need to register your interest on the Technet website and then an invite will be sent to you.
