The TALENT project team is pleased to provide two online courses, Being Effective When Having Difficult Conversations and Change Management, that are particularly timely given the current situation. Spaces are available separately for each as they are standalone courses, but please do note that you will need to attend both part 1 and 2 for each. The Technician Commitment, in partnership with the Science Council, Institute of Physics, Royal Society of Chemistry, Royal Society of Biology, Wellcome and the Research England funded TALENT programme are undertaking a survey to understand more fully the impact of COVID-19 on the technical community in higher education and research.

With more time working from home, you may be thinking about starting to learn some software development to further your research or to learn a new skill. However, getting started is often difficult and can be daunting. To help, the RSE team has compiled a list of excellent free online courses and will be hosting weekly drop-in sessions every Wednesday for additional support. Join them for:
