On 17th September the Commission will hold its final provocation, organised in partnership with the British Council.

Chaired by Ruth Mackenzie CBE, our expert panel will discuss the role of the arts and culture in shaping and sustaining the UK's global status. Looking at British culture from both inside and out, our speakers will will debate the merits and challenges of trying 'to see oursels as ithers see us'.

Ruth will be joined in conversation by poet Bohdan Piasecki, Graham Sheffield CBE (Director Arts for the British Council) and Sir John Tusa, author of State of the Arts.

Due to the size of the venue, we are unable to offer tickets to the general public. However, you can follow the debate and pose questions to the panel on our live twitter #futureofculture or catch up with the video.
