How to apply
Students need to simply complete our online request form in order to apply for part year accommodation. We offer part year accommodation on campus as far as possible on a first-come first-served basis dependent on arrival date, subject to availability.

You must be a fully enrolled, full time student studying at the University of Warwick in order to request part year accommodation.

Requests for part year accommodation for the 2026/2027 are not yet open.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide any guarantee that your request will be successful as part year accommodation offers are dependent on the availability of rooms, however we strongly encourage you to apply for part year accommodation in the first instance.
We are unable to provide a timeframe for when you'll hear the outcome of your request as the part year accommodation process is based on availability of rooms. You'll need to wait until you hear from us and we will be in touch with you if and when a suitable room becomes available. We aim to contact you as soon as we can.
If your request for part year accommodation is successful and we are able to offer you a campus contract, this will be for the remainder of the let length period as advertised on our residences webpages if you are a full year student.
When you request part year accommodation, please provide as much detail as possible regarding the dates you require accommodation for. We usually offer part year contracts based on the your academic course dates noted on your student record.
You'll only be able to choose residence preferences from the applicable options that are available for your student type. Please ensure you review the residences available for your specific student type (i.e. first year undergraduate, returning undergraduate, postgraduate) before requesting part year accommodation.
Preferences selected that are not applicable to your student type will not be considered.

If you are a part year student visiting Warwick, you must be studying full-time for the duration of your visit in order to be eligible to request part year accommodation and your request must be approved by your Department. If you only require accommodation for a set period of time, please make us aware of this on your request form and specify the time period you require (subject to departmental checks). If you are a visiting student, you'll need to ensure you note your seven digit Warwick ID number when you apply.
