Warwick Conferences is celebrating after being shortlisted for the prestigious Visit England Awards for Excellence, in the Business Events Venue of the Year category.

The Visit England Awards for Excellence recognise leaders within the English tourism industry, celebrating quality, innovation, best practice and exceptional customer service. This year’s Awards for Excellence were organised in conjunction with 15 regional competitions around England. The winners of these regional competitions were put forward for national recognition through the Awards for Excellence.

Warwick Conferences’ shortlisting therefore follows the team’s recent win at the West Midlands Tourism Awards, where Warwick Conferences scooped the Business Events Venue of the Year award, beating some of the region’s leading venues to the top spot.

The Visit England Awards for Excellence Business Events Venue of the Year category recognises venues that “demonstrate an excellent understanding of the market”. Successful venues must “exceed the expectations of their clients and have a strategic plan for future development within this area, with clear goals”.

The team at Warwick Conferences will learn if they have achieved Bronze, Silver or Gold status at the Visit England Awards for Excellence ceremony at Rum Warehouse at The Titanic Hotel Liverpool on 5^th June 2024. This national awards ceremony will bring together 48 finalists, competing across 15 core categories.

Finalist status at the Awards for Excellence comes alongside other victories for Warwick Conferences this year, including ECOSmart Platinum status, finalist status at the U Dine Awards 2024, and a Platinum Positive Impacts Special Award for Justine Meek, Warwick Conferences’ Agency Relationship Manager.
