Before you pay

The University uses Flywire or Direct Debit (with UK bank accounts only) for payment of student tuition fees, accommodation costs and other charges. The University does not accept cash payments, cheques or direct bank transfers in any currency. Please be advised that we will return payments made by direct bank transfer.

Please don't put your money at risk by dealing with any payment providers, agents or intermediaries, who may offer seemingly attractive rates of exchange or other incentives but cannot be guaranteed to be secure or legitimate.

You may be tempted to use another third party payment provider - such as EasyTransfer - to pay your tuition fees and campus accommodation. We do not accept payment from these sources.

Often these providers do not have all of the secure banking clearances that the University recommends and do not undertake all of the checks that we require. These payment providers may say they partner with the University however, the University's payment provider is Flywire. Other payment providers may ask you for your University log-on credentials in order to set-up payment plans. Do not share your log-on credentials as this contravenes the University's rules and regulations.

As part of the UK's anti-money laundering legislation, the University needs to understand where payments for tuition fees are coming from. This is why we no longer offer payment for tuition fees or accommodation charges by direct bank transfer.
