Module Approval release notes

We released Module Approval 31 on Monday 7th September. In this version we have fixed some bugs and done a few improvements with details as:

• Assessment type API now includes centrally examined assessment types.
• Fixed incorrect rendering of pre-requisite module when comparing revisions.
• PDF view now renders law statutes when needed.

We released Module Approval 30 on Monday 24th August. In this version we have done a few improvements:

• New “online fixed-time assessment” type available in the assessment section.
• Module and Module list api includes academic year in response.
• Assessment section signifies if an online assessment type is synchronous or asynchronous.

We released Module Approval 29 on Wednesday 19th August. In this version we have fixed some bugs and done a few improvements with details as:

• Import/export new online assessment types from/to SITS.
• Alert module coder when a code typed in exists already.
• Removal of course code validation in module availability section.
• New radio button field in basic module section for indicating whether the change is permanent or temporary

We released Module Approval 28 on Thursday 13th August. In this version we have fixed some bugs and done a few improvements with details as:

• New "Centrally-timetabled online assessment" type added to the assessment section.
• Added approval date to the downloadable PDF version of the approved modules.
• Our API is now able to return modules and module lists for the requested academic year.
• Proposal list now displays only modules you are working on.
• Additional tabs have been added to display approved modules and modules under review.

We released Module Approval 27 on Thursday 30th July. In this version we have fixed some bugs and done a few improvements with details as:

• There was a bug where module leader changes moved status to Draft rather than by-passing approval. This has been fixed.
• PDF download of the approved module doesn't display field changes now.
• The 'Student preparation and completion time' displays fractional hours now.
• List of departmental reviewers can now be seen.
• Shelved option is no longer available. Users should use delete option to remove the new modules.
• Generic text added to the module description section for LO field and the assessment section for mapping grid with contents as 'By the end of the module, students should be able'.
• Added navigation menu on the revisions pages.
• You can now see a new icon for fields that by-passes approval (e.g. Module leader).
• System didn't display revisions from all users in certain cases. This caused confusion when user tried to restore some previous revision.This has been fixed now.
• Some improvements to revision changes clubbing together per user changes rather than displaying separate revisions.
• Course availability section: System now allows 'New Course (Not Yet Approved)` which users can choose for entering new courses that are not currently in SITS.
