Module Approval release notes

We released Module Approval 21 on Tuesday 4th February 2020. In this version:

• We fixed incorrect text alignment and overlapping content in module PDFs.
• We improved the options for sorting modules on the home page.
• In the Learning hours breakdown section, we added an optional free text for describing the nature of a placement.

We released Module Approval 20 on Thursday 30th January 2020. In this version:

• Reviewer comments are displayed more prominently when a module is returned for changes.
• The duration drop-down for non-examination assessments has been replaced with a minutes field.
• In the Assessment section, we added an optional field so assessment components can be mapped to learning outcomes.
• In the Availability section, we added an optional field so non-module pre-requisites can be specified.
• In the Learning hours breakdown section, we raised the limit for 'Other activity' from 500 sessions to 1200 sessions.
• In the Learning hours breakdown section, we raised the limit for 'Placement' and 'Private study' from 1000 hours to 1200 hours.
• We improved the display of learning outcomes in the PDF view.
• In the Module description section, we added an optional field for supplementary detail on the syllabus. The information in this field is used to inform the approval of the module and is not published in the catalogue.
• The correct mark scheme is now entered into SITS for Foundation Year modules.
• We added a confirmation step before reviewers can reject a module.
• We resolved an issue with the module revisions API so the requested revision is returned.

We released Module Approval 19 on Tuesday 17th December 2019. In this version:

• We fixed a performance issue when entering module availability.

We released Module Approval 18 on Wednesday 11th December 2019. In this version:

• In the Availability section, you can now specify pre-requisite rules using AND and OR operators.
• We removed the word count field from problem set assessments.
• Private study hours now accepts decimal values.
• Module proposers now receive a notification when the Late Reviewer returns a proposal for changes.
• Reading time for examinations is entered into SITS as 20 minutes.
• Module duration is entered into MAV_UDF8.
• MOD_SNAM is no longer overwritten when a module is entered into SITS.
• The module credit value is now entered into MAV_MAVC.
• We resolved an issue where some modules in SITS would not appear in Module Approval.
