Release notes for web applications

We released SiteBuilder version 2.553 on Tuesday 29^th August 2023. Changes in this update include:

• You can now use an Item filter page as the source of a content feed component. Feed content will not appear in the editor, but will display correctly when published.
• You can add a new 'Share this' button to items on news and calendar pages & feeds , allowing visitors to share events and news via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or by email. Enable this option by selecting Show social media sharing buttons in the page properties or component settings.
  • Note: The 'Share this' button will only appear on feeds that are set to display as Tiles or Tiles - scrollable.

We released Tabula version 2023.8.2 on Wednesday 30^th August 2023. Changes in this update include:

• The Exam period column in Exam Deferrals reports has been renamed Exam/Assignment date for consistency.
• The Edit button on the Overcatted mark edit screen was misleading, and has been renamed View.
• Exam Deferral reports can now be generated for more than one department at a time by selecting from the options in the new Department drop-down list.

We released SiteBuilder 2.552 on Wednesday 16th August 2023. Updates in this version include:

• We fixed a bug which prevented horizontal scroller controls from displaying on some mobile devices, including iPhones.

We released SiteBuilder 2.551 on Tuesday 8^th August 2023. Updates in this version include:

• Quiz and Forms pages: The Cancel and Publish buttons on the page properties screen now match the button styles on other page types.
• Users with Contributor permissions can upload images in the Components Editor as intended.
• Icons: Brand icons now display correctly in the picker when adding icons in the Components Editor.
• Image captions on Gallery and Slideshow pages now match users' browser font size settings.
• The Components Editor Accessibility pane no longer displays the "Page must have means to bypass repeated blocks" error message, as it is not relevant to user-editable page content.

We released Tabula 2023.8.1 on Thursday 3^rd August 2023. Changes in this update include:

• Department admins can now correctly view their department's attendance records for students who have moved to another department.
• Monitoring points now display the meeting type on the Attendance screen.
• Mitigating Circumstances Officers are able to view any existing exam deferrals for their department by selecting the Exam-Deferrals button on the Mitigating Circumstances Submissions screen.
• A new Exam deferrals report is available to department admins under the Personal circumstances heading of the Reports page. The report lists exam deferrals with a submission date within a specified range.
