Release notes for web applications

We released SiteBuilder 2.432 on Monday 16^th March 2020. In this version:

• We added a banner to the top of every SiteBuilder page, with a link to the University's student and staff community guidance on Covid-19.

We released Tabula 2020.4.1 on Tuesday 31^st March 2020. In this version:

• Due to an amendment to University Regulation 36.3 you can now set assignments to close between 10am and 4pm. Previously, assignments closed at 12 noon, without the option to change this. Assignments still open at 9am, and opening and closing dates must always fall on a University working day.

We released Tabula 2020.3.3 on Friday 27^th March 2020. In this version, we added a mitigating circumstances form for submissions related to the coronavirus.

When a student makes a mitigating circumstances declaration, they are now asked if the mitigating circumstances relate to the coronavirus. If they select 'No', the normal mitigating circumstances form is displayed. If they select 'Yes', a version of the form for coronavirus related circumstances is displayed. External evidence is not generally required for these submissions. Students can choose from the pre-defined circumstances, or specify their own via the 'Other' box:

We have also updated the general information displayed on the right of the form, to include the latest coronavirus guidance.

Mitigating Circumstances Officers can use the new filters in the All submissions drop-down to display only submissions related to the coronavirus, or to exclude them.

Mitigation grade outcomes are now represented by single letters:

• R - Rejected
• A - Mild
• B - Moderate
• C - Severe

We released SiteBuilder 2.431 on Friday 13^th March 2020. In this version:

• We fixed a couple of bugs affecting the date picker on resource booking pages. When booking a resource that allows bookings up to 20:00, for example, you can now choose that as the end time of your booking. The date picker to choose which date you want to view bookings for is also working again.

We released SiteBuilder 2.430 on Friday 13^th March 2020. In this version:

• A prototype 'page audit' tool, which checks for accessibility issues on your page, is now available in the visual editor toolbar. Automatic checkers are unable to detect all accessibility issues. You should therefore also refer to the accessibility checklist. In preparation for this tool, we addressed some accessibility issues in SiteBuilder.
• We fixed an issue that prevented changes to the visual editor appearing for users in some cases. Previously, if a user's web browser had a cached version of the editor, this was displayed rather than the latest version.

• When you insert an image or file into a page, the URL box now has a 'Find' button in place of the magnifying glass icon it had previously. You can use this button to find the image or file on the website you're editing, if it's already uploaded. Alternatively, you can use it to select an image or file on your computer to upload and insert in a single step.
