Tabula release notes

We released Tabula version 2026.7.1 on Thursday 16th July 2026. Changes in this update include:

• Original submission dates for mitigating circumstances claims can no longer be overwritten.
• Tabula now imports module data for both the current and upcoming academic year, to aid academic staff undertaking preparatory work for upcoming modules.

Technical notes

The following includes changes made in hotfixes released on the 29th June and 2nd July 2026.

Bugs fixed

• [TAB-13998] - Profile modules -Freemarker exception (freemarker.core.InvalidReferenceException)
• [TAB-14065] - InvalidReferenceException in breakdownDetailUG Freemarker when trying to get yearWeighting
• [TAB-14075] - Originally submitted date for mitcircs can be reset

Tasks completed

• TAB-14077] - Use suggested button does not appear for 'UG Resit in September - Finalist' and 'UG sit as first attempt in September - Finalist'.
• [TAB-14086] - Change when module data is pulled into tabula where MAV details are for next academic year
