The Postgrad Hub has a range of services and assistive technology for customers with disabilities or learning differences.

Physical access to the Postgrad Hub

The Postgrad Hub is based on Floor 2 of Junction. There are two entrances to the building – one at the front and one at the rear. You will need to scan your university card inside Junction in order to access the Postgrad Hub. Please keep to the left when going to or from the Postgrad Hub in Junction in order to minimise contact with others. Individual toilet facilities with wheelchair access are available on the Ground Floor and Floor 2 of Junction. If you require any assistance finding your way around, please ask a member of staff.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the building with their owners.

Accessible Study Room

There is an accessible study room within the Postgrad Hub, which contains assistive technology and software.

This room may be booked by staff and students registered with the University Disability Services.

Cleaning materials will be provided within the room, which should be used on all surfaces you come in contact with before and after using the spaces. Staff will be mediating the booking system and the use of the accessible study room to limit the risk of contamination.

Accessible desk

There is also a height-adjustable desk with a PC in the atrium of the Postgrad Hub. This PC has a range of assistive technology installed on it. For more information, please talk to a member of Facilities staff.

Assistive software

The Library has a wide range of assistive software available to support your study, and have also compiled a list of either University-licenced or free productivity tools which you may find useful.
