Pint & PhD

Looking for an informal way to share your research and hear from others?

With conference season affected by Covid-19, Pint & PhD provided a space each month for PGRs to present their research informally and engage with other postgrad researchers over a drink.

At each session, 2 researchers present for up to 10 minutes each, giving the opportunity to develop their presentation and public engagement skills and to communicate their research to peers, and field questions about it from other PGRs.

We are considering bringing back Pint & PhD for the 2021-22 academic year. All disciplines and subjects are welcome, so come and be curious and learn about something new - and if presenting, make sure you're pitching it to a cross-disciplinary audience!
