Aims of programme

  • A half day workshop to provide leaders and managers with an understanding of the human reaction to change, with some practical tools to help manage and support these reactions.

What will I learn?

  • Consider how we all react differently to change
  • Explore the change curve, considering how knowledge of this can help leaders and managers support their staff at different stages of the curve
  • Explore resistance to change as a normal response.
  • Explore practical ways leaders and manager can support their team through change
  • Consider their own needs during change and how they can support themselves

Is it right for me?

You will benefit from the Understanding my team's response to change if:

  • You are a leader or manager who would like to understand more about how individuals react differently to change and what they can do to support them.

Less useful if...

  • This workshop is less useful if you are looking for a more practical toolkit approach to implementing change. The Implementing Change day course would be more helpful to address this development need.
