The Focus of the Session:


This session will begin with a brief discussion of research design, and when a survey might be a suitable tool to adopt.
We will look at the development of a questionnaire, and the choice of appropriate questions.
We will explore different approaches to sampling, coding and scaling, and we will discuss data analysis, from the initial exploration and description of a new data set to an overview of more advanced multivariate statistical methods.

 Who is it for?

 

This series is open to Research Assistants/Post Docs/Research Fellows, etc (ie. all staff doing research: this does not include research students).
