This workshop is designed to help you, as research active staff, use technology to your advantage as you grow your research profile and your career.

Who is it for?

All research active staff
 
Session Objectives:

 
The session will help you to:

  • Understand how academics use social media and appreciate the benefits of engaging with it to enhance your career prospects
  • Use technology in your job search, for instance through CV building, networking and Skype interviews
  • Create a social media action plan that will help you both raise your research profile and aid in your job search.

Is there anything else I need to know?

Please bring a laptop/ipad/mobile device - these will be needed for workshop activities.
