The Vivanti Ensemble brings together principal wind players from the Orchestra of the Swan, English Symphony Orchestra and Longborough Festival Opera whose friendships have developed over many years together as professional musicians and educators. Its members have performed with the UK’s major orchestras, including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera, Ulster Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra amongst many others. All graduates from the UK’s leading conservatoires, the Vivanti Ensemble are passionate about showcasing the fantastic variety of wind chamber music. We believe in bringing music of the highest quality to as wide an audience as possible and our versatility extends from the concert platform, to projects for children and young people, through to music in hospitals and care homes.
