Marion Patel (Placements Office, School of Life Sciences)
Marion has spent the majority of her career in professional service roles within Higher/Further Education, most of those varied roles sharing an emphasis on the delivery of supportive and engaging student services or programmes. Most recently, following 3 and a half years as an “Internships, Placements and Work Experience Coordinator” within the central Student Opportunity division, Marion has taken the role of Placements Officer within the School of Life Sciences – where she is responsible for the delivery and strategic enhancement of the School’s placement provision and supporting the broader employability experience.

Georgina Lewis – Assistant Relationship Manager, WBS CareersPlus & Employer Relations
After completing a Classics degree at King’s College London, and an English Teaching qualification, Georgina spent 6 years living and working in Portugal and Italy, teaching English and also working in Professional Services marketing.

She spent a year in Birmingham (her hometown), working in Business Development at the legal firm Wragge & Co, and then moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2009 – where her 2 boys were born, and she worked as a Project Manager for a graphic design agency.

Georgina joined Warwick Business School in 2017, as a part-time CareersPlus coordinator and she’s had various opportunities within the CareersPlus & Employer Relations team, and a year-long secondment with the Executive Education team. She says “I thoroughly recommend secondments as a route to learn and explore more about other teams/departments in the University.” And in July she starts a new role at WMG, as a Business Development Manager in the Education team!
