Alex Jackson
I was late diagnosed as autistic but always felt like I was wired differently to everyone else. When I received my diagnosis, I felt validated.
Warwick has immense potential to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for its neurodiverse staff but when I attended the Staff Neurodiversity Peer Support Group, I realised that when we ask for help, there is no standard response. I set up the Neurodiversity Champions to raise awareness and provide support.

Charlie Ward
I work at WMG as the Project Officer for ED&I and Athena Swan, supporting a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
Diagnosed with combined ADHD and RSD in 2025, I’m passionate about advocating for others and driving positive change. I also manage depression, which has shaped my empathy and understanding.
Outside of work I crochet and enjoy going to the pub.
