Lunch and Learn – Mentoring (Being & Finding)

On 05 November 2025 we presented a relaxed yet empowering ‘Lunch and Learn’ session focused on mentoring.
This interactive hour covered:

• The fundamentals of mentoring roles
• How to find the right mentor for you
• Setting boundaries and contracting techniques
• What to look for in a mentor or mentee
• Managing mentoring relationships effectively
• Launch of the Inspiring Women Peer Mentor Directory
• A practical mentee checklist to guide your journey

The event was presented by one of our Inspiring Women co-organisers, Amanda Lang.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired by University of Warwick female staff.
