Recording sickness absence as 'menopause related'
To help share the impact of menopausal symptoms, sickness absence can be recorded on SuccessFactors as 'menopause related'. This is entirely optional, but we hope it will empower staff to discuss the menopause and any adjustments needed.
How to record sickness absence as menopause related on SuccessFactors:
When recording sickness absence in SuccessFactors, you will see the question 'Menopause related absence?', to which you can answer yes or no. (See image for what this looks like).
This field can be completed directly by colleagues or by line managers when they are completing the time off form on behalf of, and with the permission of, a staff member they manage.
All data collected through this field will be tightly controlled and treated with respect. The insights will be used to inform positive changes to guidance, processes, and awareness raising which will enhance the menopause provision for our community.
