World Menopause Day Ideas Cafe
The 18th October is World Menopause Day, the purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and wellbeing.
To celebrate World Menopause Day this October, the Menopause Staff Network are hosting a Menopause Ideas Cafe in person, on campus.
We will be having discussions around themes linked to menopause at work which came out of our previous event in July, Spotlight on Menopause. Refreshments will be provided and there will also be time for networking.
This event is open to all and we particularly encourage men and younger line managers to attend. Please share this event with colleagues.
When – Wednesday 19th October 2022
Time – 14:00 - 16:00pm
Where – Oculus OC1.06
Places are limited so you will need to book.
If you are unable to attend this event please check out other resources, such as the online course Menopause at Work which looks at the common symptoms and long-term effects of the menopause and sets out key steps for organisations to take in raising awareness and supporting staff.
We also have a Menopause Staff Network for support and information, which you can join by emailing the Network Chairs, Jane Dashwood and Emma Shield. You can also reach out to either one of us if you wish to chat in confidence.
