This event will be held online on Microsoft Teams, attendees will be able to turn on automatic captioning and presenters will be visible when speaking to support lipreading. A recording of the event will be made available afterwards which will include captions.

Dr Dawn Eubanks (Associate Professor of Behavioural Science and Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Warwick Business School).

With a background in leadership and entrepreneurship, Dr Eubanks explores the unintended consequences of EDI training. Her extensive research reveals how perceptions of success and decision making impact diversity, equipping attendees with strategies to foster true inclusivity.

Dawn Eubanks earned her PhD in Industrial Organisational Psychology in 2008 with a minor in quantitative methods from the University of Oklahoma after working for several years as a Management Consultant in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. for T. Rowe Price, Watson Wyatt and Corporate Executive Board. In that capacity, Dawn worked with many high-profile clients.

Dawn has been on the editorial board of The Leadership Quarterly since 2010 and was an Associate Editor for Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology from 2014-2017 and has been an Associate Editor of Creativity Research Journal since 2022. As a Senior Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Dawn has a passion for teaching.

Dawn's research interests are primarily in the areas of leadership and entrepreneurship while understanding the influence of gender. Within leadership and entrepreneurship, she is currently exploring stereotypes, decision making, and perceptions of success. Recent research includes a focus upon investment decisions in entrepreneurial ventures. Dawn has been awarded large research grants to study leadership in the context of deception detection. Her research findings appear in several books and journals such as The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Creativity Research Journal and Human Resource Management Review.

Dr Shweta Singh (Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Management , Warwick Business School).

A recognised leader in responsible AI, Dr Singh will discuss the intersection of EDI and technology. She'll highlight her pioneering work on reducing inequalities through AI and share her insights on ethical AI practices that promote inclusive societies.

Shweta Singh has been selected and appointed as a Fellow at the Warwick Institute for Global Sustainability Development (IGSD), where she strives to achieve the UN's sustainability goals of reducing inequalities, advocating gender equality and promoting inclusive societies via Responsible Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, she is a Behavioral Data Science researcher at The Alan Turing Institute, London, United Kingdom.

Her primary research interest lies in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Sustainability, Societal Injustice, Ethical and Responsible AI and exploring value creation through Information Technology. Her AI research involves designing next generation AI, which includes mitigating AI bias, designing Explainable AI (XAI), responsible AI and fighting Societal Injustice through AI. She led a Responsible AI Project to Protect Children Online which has been Shortlisted for the Prestigious Social Impact Project of the year 2023 across entire UK.

Shweta has been selected as UN Women UK Delegate for the 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations 2024. She works with activists, advocates, experts, and governments from around the globe to drive change and create equal opportunities for women and girls. Her role involves driving change for equal opportunities for women in education.
