Primary School Football Festival

Last night we had our first ever Girls Primary School Football Festival. The purpose of the festival is to raise engagement and enjoyment in women’s football to aid in continuing the growth of Warwick's SSE Wildcats centre and Lionesses programme. Our first Girls Primary School Football Festival was a great success last night with 7 schools and 63 girls attending. It was fantastic to create a positive first experience for young girls, providing them with a pathway into grassroots FA Affiliated clubs in the local area.

A huge thanks to Marcus Webber, Football Development Officer, who organised the event and has been creating new partnerships across the County to support football opportunities, for Primary Schools and local communities to engage with.

Also, a big thank-you to all the following schools taking part and we can't wait to hear about our next event in Term 2

  • Stoke Primary
  • Clinton Primary
  • Finham Park Primary
  • Park Hill Junior
  • Moseley Primary
  • Henley in Arden
  • St John's Primary
