Good to know

  • You will be given a racquet to use, but you can use your own racquet if you have one.
  • Make sure to bring a drink along with you.


For anyone who has never played before or who has been on court a few times and wants more direction. No previous knowledge required.

What you'll learn

  • Basics shots including serve, return, drive, volley, boast and drop using forehand and backhand.
  • Basic tactics as well as rules and etiquette.
  • Confidence to play your own games

Get more direction on how to play and improve your game to become a more aware and well-rounded player. For those who have played before at a recreational level or attended the beginners squash course.

What you'll learn

  • A recap on basic techniques for the basic shots (serve, return, drive, volley, boast, drop).
  • New techniques to help you win the length battle, defend and counter the front of the court and control the T.
  • Tactical analysis of your game.
