Swimming with children
Children aged 11 or under must be supervised at all times within the water and changing rooms by a parent or person over 16. A maximum of 2 children aged 11 years or younger are permitted per parent or person over 16. The parent can be of any age and only the ratio of supervision will be imposed.
- When the pool is set at 1.3m, 1 person over 16 to supervise every child under 3 and 1 adult to supervise 2 children aged 4 - 11 years.
- During a family swim a person aged 16 or older can supervise up to three swimmers age 4-11 years old. Any non-swimmers must be using floatation support.
- Parents/guardians are to stay in the facility with all children aged 11 years or younger during swimming lessons.
- For babies aged 5 years and under the ratio is one adult to one child.
