Great results for our Performance Sport – Judo team in the Under 23 European Championships recently. One of our gold scholars, Lubjana Piovesana had a fantastic result in the Budapest European Championships and managed to win all four rounds in less than two minutes – Amazing!

Lubjana Piovesana started Judo at the age of 5 and also athletics until the age of 17 years old. She first represented England in Judo at the age of 12 and then also represented Great Britain at the age of 15. Lubjana is one of our gold scholars here at Warwick Sport and trains full time in the British Judo National Centre in Walsall whilst balancing her academic studies.

It was an amazing result for not only Lubjana but performance sport also! So a huge congratulations to Lubjana Piovesana we can’t wait to hear all about your results next time.
