My Christmas traditions as an international student living in the UK

Starting uni is a big change, and even more so as an international student. The end of first term always feels hectic with final deadlines, society events, and everyone getting ready to head home. Warwick Christmas Fayre 2025

The Warwick Christmas Fayre always seems to arrive at the exact moment everyone on campus needs a break. In the winter cold, the Piazza transformed into a glowing Christmas market that felt like it had been lifted straight out of a festive film. The air was filled with the smell of hot pastries and warm drinks, and the lights wrapped around the trees made the whole area feel warm and cosy.
