From 1 September, Microsoft will start asking users to create a passkey when they sign-in. SMS text message and phone call verification will be phased out from 1 February 2027, so if you are using these methods, you are advised to set up a passkey before that deadline (which the NCSC advises is phishing resistant and provides stronger protection for your account). The fairs are open to all undergraduate second years going into their final year and postgraduate Chinese students from any discipline.
